“Dorfold provided the most beautiful backdrop to our wedding! It was the most spectacular day and made our dreams of a fairy tale wedding a reality. They couldn’t have done more for us and we will remember Dorfold Hall not only as our fabulous venue, but for the gorgeous team of people who made us feel at home from the first time we drove down that breath-taking driveway.”

the Locations

The Coach House

The Coach House

Over 200-years-old and recently renovated, our Coach House sits in the shade of a thousand-year-old Spanish Chestnut Tree, offering a captivating space to say “I do”. Brimming with character and charm, it has enormous double oak doors, white washed walls and a spectacular chandelier hanging from the lofty ceiling, as well as a gallery for musicians.

L’Écurie & The Tack Room

L’Écurie & The Tack Room

Juxtaposing the historical and the contemporary, while enhancing the setting it is nestled within, L’Écurie is an atmospheric backdrop for feasting and celebrations. Unique and sophisticated in style, its main feature is the original brick wall of the former stable yard, which is how the space gained its name – L’Écurie is the French word for stable yard. This is balanced on the opposite side by the fabulous view onto the Hall and Clocktower, where light pours into the space from many angles, highlighting the elegant proportions and minstrel’s gallery.

The Tack Room sits across from L’Écurie, providing an intimate and adaptable additional space. Together with L’Écurie and The Coach House, these three main structures surround a secluded courtyard that is perfectly contained within one of our walled gardens.

Dorfold Hall Gardens

The Gardens

An exclusive haven, where you and your guests are free to roam anywhere you please, glass in hand. The gardens comprise vast lawns, a peaceful lake, a magical Victorian Dingle, a romantic Arcadian walk, and scented borders galore. The diversity is breath-taking and remains true to its traditional stately landscape architecture. When shelter is needed, L’Ecurie’s courtyard and its adjoining Tack Room can be used.
